Welcome to XASE Labs.
XASE labs was started back in late 2010, as an informal independent development group; with the primary goal of writing and distributing the Extended Functions Library (EFL), a set of free and open source, high-level cross-platform C++ libraries, which were later used to spawn other projects, such as the first implementation of the VAUIOS Operating system.
The Extended Functions Library, as well as other similar projects are still maintained and actively developed and distributed through there respective SourceForge.net® project pages.
Philosophies
- Always choose simplicity over complexity.
- Portability is better then usability.
- Writing code to support only one platform is inefficient; writing a single library to support multiple, alternative platforms is more efficient but difficult to implement.
- Nothing is ever finished; there is always room for improvement.
